It’s an album written during the quarantine in Rosario, Argentina. It’s comprised of five music pieces very different from each other that express the feelings and emotions I went through that period. It was an opportunity to experiment a lot, to try new things.
From the feeling of survival to actually living, the need of banality and then connecting with inner demons and the most powerful feelings of the unknown and the uncertainty.
This is a ‘self-made’ album. In other circumstances the album would have been done differently. I wrote, produced, recorded and mixed the music. The audio is a mix of what was available at my hometown, Rosario, Argentina and my home studio in Milan. It was a limit that became a challenge. The accordion, classic guitar and some ambience sounds were recorded with an usb mic!
Back in Milan, my friends musicians join the project and brought their magic to these tracks.
This album led to a collective music visual art project of different artists that made their art based on my music. Films, poems, paintings and designs. Everything is on our website www.quarantinefeelings.com
